“I wanted to learn to run properly. Roberta was very motivational in getting me in to my running shoes and out of the house. At first (when I was pretty slow!) I felt supported and encouraged to keep on going. After a few runs Roberta challenged me to up my speed by sprinting, to really push my stamina. I still love to use this technique now, so I don't just get into a rhythm and get too comfortable, and it is so good for you to bring your heart rate up and down.

Roberta showed me additional exercises to do alongside my runs, such as lunges, squats and sit ups. I really enjoy using these exercises whilst out running as they act as a break or a cool down, all whilst toning!

Once I had become more confident in running Roberta motivated me to up my distance, and we had some excellent 10-13k runs, motivating one another to keep going.
